The
Premier League's contingent of Brazil internationals were all smiles as they
headed back to England from international duty on a private jet.
Manchester City and Liverpool, who face one another when the Premier League
returns on Saturday lunchtime, were joined by Chelsea in clubbing together
to get their players back from Colombia as quickly as possible.
City had Fernandinho in Brazil's starting line-up for the 1-1 draw, which
saw Willian open the scoring just before half-time.
Radamel Falcao equalised for Colombia in the second half, while Brazil made
use of City striker Gabriel Jesus and Liverpool forward Philippe Coutinho
off the bench, Coutinho playing 15 minutes as he continues his return to
full fitness.
Jesus replaced Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino, while the sixth player
involved in the squad - City goalkeeper Ederson - was an unused sub.
All six were present in an image on Fernandinho's Instagram page, taken just
before they left Barranquilla for England - they were expected back on
English soil on Wednesday morning.
They still face a quick turn around, with City and Liverpool meeting in the
weekend's highlight, live on Sky Sports Premier League.
Chelsea also play on Saturday, taking on Leicester City in a meeting of the
last two Premier League champions at 3pm.
