Chelsea
have launched a move to sign Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac, according to
Sky sources.
It is understood the Bosnia and Herzegovina international is also wanted by
Juventus as a replacement for Patrice Evra.
The 23-year-old has six months left on his contract at the Bundesliga club,
who want to keep him, but Chelsea have opened talks for the defender.
The move comes despite the Blues recalling Nathan Ake, who played against
Brentford in the FA Cup on Saturday, from his loan at Bournemouth.
Chelsea are on the cusp of losing veteran right-back Branislav Ivanovic to
Zenit St Petersburg, according to Sky sources.
If successful, Kolasinac will be Chelsea's first signing of the January
window.
