Chelsea
have completed the signing of teenage forward Kenedy from Fluminense.
The 19-year-old, who has represented his country seven times at Under-20
level, played for Chelsea in their pre-season win over Barcelona after being
given permission by his parent club.
"'I am very happy to complete my transfer to Chelsea," he told the club's
official website.
"It is an exciting time for me to join the English Premier League champions
and I hope I can become an important player for the club,' he added.
"I very much enjoyed my time with the squad during pre-season and I am very
grateful to Fluminense for allowing me this opportunity."
Despite his age, the left-footed attacker made over 40 senior league
appearances for Fluminense, scoring five goals.
Kenedy, whose full name is Robert Kenedy Nunes do Nascimento, will wear the
number 16 shirt at Stamford Bridge.
