Chelsea boss Antonio Conte's first game will be a friendly against Liverpool
in America in July, as the club takes part in the International Champions
Cup ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The two sides will face off in Pasadena, California at 8pm on July 27 (4am
UK time on July 28), in their first game of pre-season.
Two days later, former Juventus coach Conte will face Real Madrid at
Michigan Stadium - the largest stadium in the USA with a capacity of
108,000. Chelsea's final game of their American tour is against Conte's
former rivals AC Milan on August 4.
Chelsea confirmed on Monday that Conte will become their new head coach
following the conclusion of Euro 2016 this summer.
The 46-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Blues, and will take over
after he has led his current side Italy in France.
Conte will become the 10th boss to take charge of Chelsea since Roman
Abramovich completed his takeover of the club in 2003.
"I am very excited about the prospect of working at Chelsea Football Club. I
am proud to be the coach of the national team of my country and only a role
as attractive as manager of Chelsea could follow that," he told Chelsea's
official website.
"I am looking forward to meeting everyone at the club and the day-to-day
challenge of competing in the Premier League."
