Hiddink says there is no question of Chelsea rolling over for Leicester if
the Premier League title race is still alive on the final day.
Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard came out this month in favour of a Foxes title
win, the latter claiming Chelsea will "do everything in their power" to ruin
Tottenham's hopes by winning at Stamford Bridge on Monday Night Football.
That result would crown Leicester champions if they fail to win at
Manchester United on Sunday.
Speaking at his press conference ahead of that game Hiddink said Hazard's
comments should not be "overvalued" and assured Spurs Chelsea will put in
the same effort when Leicester visit on May 15.
"The players don't need it to be demanded," he said. "They are well aware to
play a good role in this season whether it's Spurs now or another team in
the near future.
"If you see the attitude in training then I cannot complain. We will play
for the win [on Monday] which is normal, and any extra scrutiny? There's no
need, for me, because we want to fulfil our obligations now and in the
upcoming games."
Hazard made his comments after his first game in six weeks and his most
productive of a disappointing season, a 4-1 win at Bournemouth in which he
scored his first Premier League goals since May.
"I think you have not to overvalue it in the sense that 'it's just
Tottenham'. I think he expressed himself pleased to be back in the team and
going for all the wins, including of course the upcoming game which is
Tottenham, and was not saying after that it's not important anymore.
"That's not the attitude - not mine, not the club's, not from the squad and
not from Hazard."
