Youth Cup Final Level  (Sky Sports)

Manchester City v. ChelseaManchester City came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the first leg of the FA Youth Cup final on Friday.

Mason Mount put last year's winners ahead in the 50th minute when he swept home from Trevoh Chalobah's cross.

But City equalised in the 68th minute with a fine curling effort from Aaron Nemane to leave the final evenly-poised ahead of the second leg at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, April 12.

There were a number of notable faces in the crowd to watch the game, including City first-team boss Manuel Pellegrini and players Joe Hart and Vincent Kompany.

It was Chelsea who made the brighter start and went close to breaking the deadlock when left-back Jay Dasilva's cross hit the bar.

Brahim Diaz shot over at the other end with an effort from outside the box before Chelsea's Dujon Sterling failed to hit the target with a half volley from the penalty spot.

It didn't take the visitors long to break the deadlock after the break as Chalobah's low cross was turned in by Mount.

But City soon struck back as Nemane curled a right-footed shot into the far corner and beyond Nathan Baxter's dive.

Isaac Buckley went close to putting City ahead when he fired wide from the edge of the area, but it will be Chelsea's youngsters who will be happier heading into next Wednesday's second leg.
