Chelsea
forward Willian hopes to play in the Copa America and the Olympics as Brazil
face mounting pressure to win both tournaments.
The Brazilian Confederation are in talks with the Londoners hoping to reach
an agreement over his release but the Blues are hopeful he will attend just
one of the competitions.
Should Willian take in both tournaments, he would miss the first two Premier
League matches of new manager Antonio Conte's time in charge at Stamford
Bridge.
"Everyone knows my desire to play both championships, but of course we do
not want to fight and put Chelsea in a difficult situation," said Willian,
who has been capped 30 times for Brazil.
"And I do not want to fight with the Brazil Football Confederation. I hope
they and Chelsea enter into an agreement about my release."
