Hazard reckons Jose Mourinho might have been too hasty in offloading Kevin
de Bruyne.
De Bruyne left Stamford Bridge for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg last summer
after being deemed surplus to requirements.
But an impressive season in which he has scored nine goals and clocked up 16
assists has seen newspaper reports link him with a return to the Premier
League, Manchester City one rumoured suitor.
The Belgian is still only 23 and compatriot Hazard believes he would have
come good.
“He is a great player," Hazard told L'Equipe. "Mourinho decided to let him
go and not play him.
“It was not my decision, even though I know very well that he could play at
Chelsea because he has tremendous qualities.
“I think at Chelsea, you have more pressure than Wolfsburg. It's a shame
he's gone but he'll have a successful career.”
