Chelsea
can move to within one win of a fourth Premier League title with victory
against a resurgent Leicester City on Wednesday.
A goalless draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Super Sunday
moved the Blues to within touching distance of a first top-flight crown in
five years.
Having been subjected to chants which labelled their brand of football
boring, Chelsea have the chance to turn on the style against a Leicester
side who they have beaten in each of their previous five meetings.
However, with Premier League survival at stake, Nigel Pearson's side will
have other ideas and head into the game knowing that a victory would move
them four points clear of the drop zone with just four games to play.
The Foxes will be in confident mood having found their form at exactly the
right time. Victory against the champions-elect on Wednesday will seal a
fifth successive top-flight win for the first time since January 1964.
Team news
Leicester are sweating on the fitness of David Nugent, Jamie Vardy and Jeff
Schlupp. Nugent and winger Schlupp missed Saturday's 1-0 win at Burnley with
calf injuries and will be assessed prior to kick-off.
Vardy, who scored the winner at Turf Moor, only played following an
injection in his foot and will be monitored. Chris Wood is in the squad
after being recalled from his loan at Ipswich.
Diego Costa could return for Chelsea after missing four games with a
hamstring injury. Mourinho was planning to make a late decision on whether
to gamble by playing the striker, whose season has been punctuated by injury
problems.
Oscar could be missing after his collision with David Ospina in Sunday's
draw at the Emirates. Striker Loic Remy (calf) is definitely out.
